Our Commitment to Nature
At Borough Farm, we are deeply committed to nature and sustainability. We recognize the importance of protecting our planet and strive to minimize our impact on the environment. To that end, we have implemented a number of eco-friendly practices throughout our site. We use solar panels to generate electricity, and we have a system for collecting rainwater for use on the farm. We also compost all of our food waste and use organic, locally-sourced ingredients in our meals whenever possible.
We encourage our guests to adopt a responsible and respectful approach to nature. We enable guests to learn about the local ecology and wildlife, and we ask that they abide by our Leave No Trace policy when exploring the surrounding area. By promoting an understanding and appreciation of nature, we hope to inspire our guests to take similar actions in their own lives and communities, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more sustainable planet for all.

If you’ve walked through the farm on a crisp autumn morning, you’ll have passed the orchard — a beautiful, slightly wild patch of apple trees that sits at the heart of Borough Farm. Whether you’re looking for the salty breeze of the North Devon and Cornwall cliffs or the rugged tors and open wilderness of Dartmoor, Borough Farm is perfectly positioned to give you the best of both worlds.
